Apostolic Nuncio sends holy father's greetings to brothers

Picture
We are very pleased to share a letter which was received in early April 2017 from Archbishop Christophe Pierre, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, in which he sends Pope Francis' "cordial greetings to America's communities of brothers, together with his prayerful good wishes for the spiritual fruitfulness of their varied apostolates."

We are honored to be remembered by the Holy Father on this first Religious Brothers Day which will be celebrated on Monday, May 1, 2017 -- the feast of St. Joseph the Worker.

Cardinal Sean o'malley congratulations all religious brothers

Cardinal Seán O'Malley, OFM Cap., sends his personal greetings to all religious brothers as preparations continue for the first Religious Brothers Day on Monday, May 1, 2017.

Although he currently serves the Church as the Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Seán has been a member of the Capuchin Province of St. Augustine since professing his first vows with the community in 1965.  He was one of the first "bloggers" to share the many events of his very busy episcopal schedule.  Check out his weekly blog here.
