Archdiocese of Washington

Cardinal Donald Wuerl celebrated a special Mass on the first Sunday of Advent 2014 at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington to open the Year of Consecrated Life in the Archdiocese.  Many communities of men and women religious were in attendance and participated in the liturgy.  The photos below were taken by Jaclyn Lippelmann of the Catholic Standard.
